2020 Town Budget Update from Supervisor Nesbitt:

2020 Town Budget Update from Supervisor Nesbitt:

Today I filed the Town Supervisor's Preliminary 2020 budget with the Town Clerk at 4:15 PM. The line by line budget with comparable's to the 2019 budget will be posted on Monday on the town's website. The Supervisor's preliminary budget proposes a one cent decrease per thousand for Village residents and a six cent increase per thousand in the town tax rate.

The transparent line by line budget that Webster does will be delivered to every household in Webster on September 12th by the official paper of Webster, the Webster Herald, and Town/Village residents will be able to comment about the budget at the September 19th or October 3rd open discussions of the budget.

We were again able to stay under the New York State Tax Cap and brought in a budget that provides all the services that Webster residents currently enjoy.

The Town Board and I are looking forward to discussing the 2020 budget with residents at the public meetings.
