About Us

The Webster Police Department, established in 1928 and fully accredited since 1999, is guided by the philosophy of community policing. A highly trained staff of 28 officers and 6 civilians promotes safety and protects the community.

To facilitate mutual aid, the Monroe County 9-1-1 system dispatches all calls for emergencies and service to uniformed patrol officers who are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Police Department is well-equipped with high-technology tools for efficient and effective delivery of services. It also coordinates with other law enforcement agencies in the region.
