Mission Statement
The primary mission for employees of the Webster Police Department is to serve the community of Webster and its people. We are called upon to enforce laws and ordinances passed by the representatives of these same people. The department is committed to service and to maintaining our high standards in response to the community we serve.

The principal goals of the Webster Police Department include:

• Identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders and the preservation of the peace
• Resolution of conflict
• The creation and maintenance of a feeling of security in the community
• Reduction of opportunities for the commission of crime through crime prevention strategies
• The protection of life and property
