Sandbar Park Project

In 2003, the Town of Webster purchased land along Lake Road, with the goal to preserve the area for future generations.

The parcel now known as Sandbar Park offers access to both Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario.  The park encompasses a waterfront picnic space, wetlands, and a large wooded area with black locust grove.

In 2015, the Town received $118,000 in state funding to start designs for waterfront improvements to Sandbar Park.

Residents will find up-to-date information on the project, including public forums by using the links on the Left Side.
